Processing multiple filed + CPU usage

Postby matt » Sat Jan 16, 2016 7:11 pm

I'm currently unzipping six 1GB .7z files at the same time.

I selected the six files, which were associated with Keka, and press Cmd+O to open them.

Still, Keka is only using around 30% of my CPU. Is this optimal and/or normal?
As it gets to only two files being extracted, I kaka is using about 60% of my CPU.

Also, I would have expected an option for Keka to queue the files and only do them one at a time?

Thoughts appreciated.

ps: I have a iMac 12,1 with 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 and 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3.

As of Keka 1.0.5rc1, if more than 3 compressed files are passed, they'll be queued :)
